- Points are scored automatically when deaths are confirmed via Wikipedia
Scoring System
| Event |
Points |
| Correct prediction (person dies in 2026) |
+1 |
| Correct quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, or Q4) |
+2 |
| Exact date match |
+3 |
| Dark Horse bonus (only you predicted them) |
+2 |
Example: You predict Celebrity X dies in Q2 on June 15th.
They actually die on June 15th, and no one else predicted them.
Your score: 1 (hit) + 2 (quarter) + 3 (exact date) + 2 (dark horse) = 8 points

FAQ
Q: How are deaths detected?
Deaths are synced from Wikipedia automatically. The system checks for notable deaths and matches them against predictions.
Q: Can I change my predictions?
Yes, you can delete predictions and add new ones until January 1st, 2026 at 12:01 AM. After that, all predictions are locked.
Q: What counts as a "celebrity"?
Anyone with a Wikipedia page is fair game. The search only returns people (not places, events, etc.).
Q: How do quarters work?
Q1 = January-March, Q2 = April-June, Q3 = July-September, Q4 = October-December
