2
Pick a Quarter
Choose when you think they'll die: Q1 (Jan-Mar), Q2 (Apr-Jun), Q3 (Jul-Sep), Q4 (Oct-Dec).
3
Optional: Exact Date
Feeling lucky? Pick an exact date for +3 bonus points if you nail it.
4
Wait & Watch
Predictions lock Jan 1st. Deaths are detected automatically via Wikipedia. Points are scored instantly.

Tip: Predict as many celebrities as you want, but you can only predict each person once.

Strategy Tips

Go for Dark Horses
Unique predictions earn +2 bonus points. Check the Draft page to find celebrities nobody else has picked.
Nail the Quarter
The +2 quarter bonus is the most reliable way to score big. Research health conditions and make educated guesses.
Volume vs. Precision
More predictions = more chances. But popular picks have competition. Balance quantity with unique picks for maximum points.

FAQ

How are deaths detected?
Deaths are synced from Wikipedia automatically. The system periodically checks for notable deaths and matches them against all player predictions to calculate points.
Can I change my predictions?
Yes, you can delete predictions and add new ones until January 1st, 2026 at 12:01 AM Eastern. After that, all predictions are permanently locked.
What counts as a "celebrity"?
Anyone with a Wikipedia page is fair game. The search only returns people (not places, events, etc.), so if you can find them in the search, they're eligible.
How do quarters work?
Q1 = January-March, Q2 = April-June, Q3 = July-September, Q4 = October-December. If you correctly predict the quarter someone dies in, you earn +2 bonus points.
What's a Dark Horse bonus?
If you're the only player who predicted a particular person, that's a "Dark Horse" pick. If that person dies, you get an extra +2 bonus points on top of your other bonuses. Check the Draft page to see which picks are unique.
